Since 2012, Jack and Stephen Teeling, the latest generation of Teeling Whiskey makers, have been putting their own mark on Irish Whiskey and came full circle in 2015 when they proudly opened the new Teeling Whiskey Distillery just down the road from where the original family distillery once stood. The Teeling Whiskey Distillery today is the first new distillery in Dublin for over 125 years
Today’s five whiskies, with basic stats, and room for your tasting notes. Each whisky is 46%abv, NAS, and non-chill filtered:
TeelingSmall Batch,malt and grain (corn and barley) whiskies, aged in ex-bourbon casks up to 6 years and finished over 6 months in Central American rum casks
TeelingSingle Grain, 95% corn whisky aged in Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon casks, column still
TeelingSingle Malt, various ages and casks, finished in five types of wine cask (Cab, Chard, Madeira, Port, Sherry)
Single Pot Still, 50% malt /50% barley, triple distilled, aged in virgin oak, ex-sherry, and ex-bourbon casks
